The works of J.P. Muller – including perhaps his most famous work “My System” – sold by the millions, and still have many fans (and new converts) today. Followers of his system see health benefits and improved fitness without using up nervous energy. As an early physical culturist, Muller tried to improve the social system and lives of the poor and undernourished average person. He was all-inclusive with a great concern for including programs for women, children, and making training lifelong to increase quality of life.
With an understanding of muscular physiology and its relationship to movement and practical application, Mullers systems will always be relevant.
This reproduction of one of his lesser-known works is a must for all fans of Muller, new and old alike. A 100% faithful reproduction of the text, I have only made some layout amendments to make the exercise segment of the book easier to follow. Whereas My System called for 15 minutes of exercise a day “for health’s sake”, he narrowed it down to only 5 minutes by the time this text came around!
